The mission of UI Advise is to strengthen and support academic advising at the University of Iowa. The goals of the organization are to:
- promote campus-wide collaboration between offices that provide academic support to students
- enhance communication between and within advising units
- contribute to the ongoing professional development of academic advisors
- provide consistent dissemination of information through electronic resources
All University of Iowa primary role academic advisors are automatically members of UI Advise. Membership is also available to all faculty and staff who have responsibilities for academic advising, as well as other professionals on campus who provide academic support for students.
